This book is a lovely resource for anyone involved with school gardens - it is truly humbling.  Connecting children to nature and food is not a new idea, but it is one we have struggled to make a priority as a society. Dr. Greene may as well have been writing this today.  Enjoy!

School Garden Love at Parkview Elementary!

Kale Salad at Kendall

Nicole made some kale salad with Ms. Welch's class out at Kendall Elementary!  They harvested kale, carrots, and nasturtium, and tossed it all in a dressing made of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and honey!  

Starting the year at Happy Valley Elementary

The Happy Valley school garden was cared for over the summer by generous volunteers, including families, and the students were able to return to see a well-cared for garden that they are excited to work in!
